Good Samaritan

Tonight at Refuge my friend Nova taught on the parable of the Good Samaritan. It is a "story" we have heard many times, and I love to hear what God has put on the heart of the person that is sharing it every time. Nova's application was from when the Samaritan stopped and helped the injured man, what was he giving up to do so. Was he going to be late for an event back at home? Was the wine and oil a sacrifice to give up to help this man's wounds? How do we look at situations and circumstances in our lives that occur unexpectedly or that are ever before our eyes. Do we look at them as a hindrance or as a an opportunity to serve? What a great night of the Lord working through my brothers, Brian and Nova, to bring encouragement and exhortation to the Body of Christ.
