First Two Weeks

Wow! I can't believe it has already been almost two weeks since I arrived in North Carolina with my traveling buddy, MY MOM!!! :) She flew out on Saturday, December 18th, leaving me here with my two best friends, Greg & Angela, and their cutie patootie two year old, James. They have graciously welcomed me into their home and I am purposed in my heart to be a help to all of them.

I love waking up everyday and hearing James call my name, Yaya. It is the name that my younger nieces and nephews call me. I wish we thought of it sooner for my nephews Tommy and Travis. :)

Anyway, we had snow the other day and were able to make a snowman. It was so fun and it is worth getting cold. However, the days following, I was content on just staying inside, nice and warm. Ok...I am a wimp...hahaha.

I haven't been actively searching for a job, yet. I hope to start by asking the Pastor who runs the Hope Cafe if there is an opening. Please pray for me to make the right decision and to not be closed to certain opportunities that the Lord may want for me. The Lord knows what He is doing and I need to trust Him completely.

Well, I just wanted to jot down some stuff so that you all have an idea of what is going on. We have started gathering together on Sunday nights to pray and read from the Word. Please pray that these times are led fully by the Lord and that we will submit to His will.
