We left Van Buren, Oklahoma around 1pm today after arriving there around 4am. We were tired and didn't want to push getting further along without resting. I am so glad we 
are taking our time and not putting any pressure on ourselves to get to NC by a certain day. We have a goal, but it is very 
flexible. I think the main pressure for me came from driving in Memphis as we stopped over at Elvis' house to take pics. I felt that people were rushing everywhere and would have plowed through us if they could. I could be feeling that way since I am not familiar with this area. I am glad we were able to stop over at Graceland. The last and only other time we did was way back in in '97 and I have a pic of my mom and dad standing in front of the wall and gate in front of Graceland
. We wrote on the wall tonight in memory of my dad. Pretty cool! PS-everyone writes on the wall, we did not vandalize. Hahaha...Well, praise the Lord, we have had clear weather and roads all the way. The people have been nice and we have had a fun time, playing the alphabet game, singing Peanut Butter & Jelly Time and the number game. I love having my mom on this trip and I am so grateful she was able to come with.
