Well, I left on Thursday, November 9th for North Carolina. Thankfully my mom is able to drive with me on this long trek across the country. I would to begin by paying homage to the wonderful blessings of Rest Stops. They come at just the right time. Please Lord...we pray that none will be closed right when we need them. :) They are so convenient in that you can hop off the road and hop right back on without driving around in circles. You don't have to feel guilty for stopping there like you do when you stop at a gas station and are not going to by anything. From past experience when I went to Georgia we found the Rest Stops to be more beautiful and comfy, so we will see if that is still the case. I will be updating as we stop at various Rest Stops across this great country of ours. This picture is of the first Rest Stop we came upon was about 50 miles after Flagstaff. God Bless you all!
I am so glad that we get to go on a girl's road trip at last. We talked about it for years. God's timing. I love the picture. Does that say"rest stops Rule!"? or "rest stop rules"
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.
Love you my Holly girl
I love you Mom. Thank you for coming with me. Holly
ReplyDeleteHolly, I looked at the date that you said we left. I didn't realize it took us that long to drive there.(:
